Are their any 22 autos out there that take more than ten rounds?  Just strikes me as odd since the 22 is such a small round and even in compact size frames you could fit 15-20 rounds.

What are the leading "big gun" 22s out there?

Good news-  a pistol that takes Ruger 10/22 high cap mags

Bad news- Intrac pistol is not known for its reliability

Yes, how about some details please.

Mostly, what mag does it use?

It looks like an AR-15 pistol with a .22LR upper.  If so, it uses a Ciener .22 conversion kit and you will have to buy your magazines from Ciener.  See www.22lrconversions.com

They may not have been known for reliability, but my two Intratec (not "Intrac" BTW) .22s have never given me any problems whatsoever.  YMMV, of course.

Okay, new criteria - Hicap .22 that takes 10/22 mags and doesn't look like the spawn of Caliban.

Do a websearch on the following

Volquartzen makes a 22lr pistol based on the 10-22 receiver, Tec 22 takes 10-22 high cap mags

Is this the one your talking about?

Feather USA has the AT-22.  You can still get 20 round magazines for it.

I'd buy one if it was threaded 1/2-28

Here's a crappy pic of mine.  The stock is collapsible and the barrel shroud screws off and you can pull the barrel right off.  The original case is a small softside briefcase type. There are also different muzzle devices that thread on the end. Takes 20 rd. magazines. You can get them with AR stocks, bull barrels and other options now.  I don't work for Feather, but I really like this rifle.

I get it now.  I thought you were saying they made a pistol version.  I looked and looked, but couldn't find one.

Still a cool rifle if the barrel comes off though.

Crap! I saw the topic from the active list and didn't pay attention to the handgun part. Sorry for dumping on the thread. I do have a Ruger 50th Anniversary .22 pistol though.

Aaaah, to heck with these paltry 20-50 round magazines.

Get an American 180 SMG.  It uses 165, 220 or 275 round magazines.

www.american180.com/

I have wanted one of these since I first heard of it.  There IS a semi-auto version, as well.

ETa:  Whoops, my bad.  Handgun thread......

I wasn't implying that you dumped on the thread.

I had never heard of Feather USA before and now I want one so at least some good came of it.  Or maybe that's bad I don't know.
