A 686-3 sold for $339 back in the day.  I think a new one currently is much much more.  I would probably gladly pay 300-350 for a good 686.

Who did the port job? Factory? All papers, box, etc. in perfect shape?

NVM looked up the sku.

If I wanted it I wouldn't pay more than $450, $500 if I really wanted it, the right guy might pay up towards $550 but it's not going to be a hot peice of merchandise.

It's a factory magna port and came in box but missing paperwork and lawyer lock. Also as far as I can tell it is perfect no scratches or anything.

It should be a S&W factory port, on top of the barrel and in front of the front sight. The catalog number tells it all. The codes are as follows:

06= Round capacity
A2= Single/Double Action
MD= Medium Frame Size
Gr= Rubber Grips
BP= Powerport
SA= Adjustable Sights
SP= Patridge Front Sight
FS= Stainless Steel Frame
CS= Stainless Steel Cylinder
ZS= Satin Stainless Finish
With Internal Lock and MIM parts.

- Product Code 164272
- 2004-2006

I bought one LNIB just before Christmas at a pawn shop for $360 and I am still grinning.

I wish I could find some of the $350 numbers that you guys are throwing out there.  I just picked one up this afternoon for $400.  On gunbroker.com used seem to go for 550-600 and 675-725 for NIB.  I thought $400 was damn good
