Just a postive note on the customer service at Kimber. I called on Tuesday 19 Aug 03 to order a new slide stop for my Classic Custom. It arrived today. The Rep (?Joe) wanted to know why I was ordering a slide stop. I explained what happened and he proceeded to get my shipping address. When I asked what the total cost was, he said there was no charge.

My Kimber is no safe queen; 3 gun matches, IDPA, League at Blackhawk, carried on the ranch, and CHL carry piece- it gets used but not abused. I purchased it in Oct 2001, so I didn't expect (and didn't deserve) a "no charge" slide lock.
