I picked this up from a local guy... decided to give it an overhaul.. Thoughts?

Looks good. I love my Desert Warrior. Just got a Storm Lake threaded barrel for it and am patiently waiting for my Osprey can. I try to carry it during the colder months. Texas is too hot to try to conceal it in shorts and a t-shirt.

I like the paint job but I'm not a huge fan of those grips...just personal taste.

Personally, not a fan of two tone guns, let alone five or six.

As long as you like it.....that is all that matters.

Looks awesome, love the grips. I've wanted a kimber DW for a long while, my "want" list is just too damn long.

With your well documented dislike of Kimber 1911s, kinda surprised you wasted your time on it.
But that said, not crazy about the grips or frame color, but as always the work looks exceptional.
