Looking for a pocket gun. I've owned a Kahr PM9 and it just didn't fit my hand right. Bit my palm too much when shooting it. I've got big hands and it was just too darn small. I'm thinking a standard P might be better. My FFL has a P40 (wish he had a P9) in stock. He also has a 337 Smith (Titanium 38 with 1 7/8" barrel) that would be another option. I'm leaning towards the Kahr just for shootability. I could hit things with the PM9 but the Smith 642 and the Ruger SP101 I owned at the same time I couldn't hit the broad side of a barn with. I pocket carry my HK P2000SK in 9mm now but for some cloths it's just a little too thick. What's your opinions?

The P40 is not a pocket gun. The 337 is. Not much point in having it in your pocket if you can't hit with it though.....Snubbies require a lot of practice to learn to shoot them well.

The P40 and the 337 are pretty darn close in size. The 337 is thicker than the P40 but the P40 is just a little longer than the 337. It's kinda boiling down to caliber....

P40 would be very concealable. I preferr autos, and the Kahr is a nice gun. My brother put a full mag of cheap ammo from a P9 into one ragged hole offhand at 7 yards. Pretty decent for a compact.
