I just purchased a 442 .38 as a back up weapon.  I was not sure about a wheel gun, as this was my first, but I am in LOVE.  Even with my big paws, it feels good in my hands.  And shoots well, although I am just now getting used to it.

Let's hear what you think....

I have the S&W 460, the Performance Center version of the 442. You'll love that little wheelgun as it's very accurate for its size. Holster selection is critical, needless to say, due to the hammerless design. Fobus is a good choice as it doesn't use a strap for retention.

Try shooting wadcutters next time & you'll thrill at the nice groups you get at 7-10 yards.

Gotta love 'em. I really like any of the hammerless variations the best (hold on wilst I unsnag my hammer) Cute, potent and reliable...make mine the stainless flavor please.
