We spent half the day at the range today.  While I was there I was thinking about my carry ammo.
I carry 124gr golddots in my glock 19.  I would have bought the same in +p  but I cant find them around here.  I would have to order them online.

I pay $20 per 50rds at my local gun store.  Anybody think it its woth the trouble to order +p ???  
I am surpised how fast you can fire 15rds in to a paper plate 10ydrs away. I though it might be a little harder with +p.  Today I ran through some mags of +p+ and I really didnt notice a much difference with the Glock.

We did notice  good bit more muzzel flip with my wifes sub xd-9 thou.
But anyway what do you guys think about +p???

I use Rem Golden Saber +P in my XD9 Service. I do not notice very much difference between them and WWB. I keep them for a bit more penetration over standard 9mm.

In most calibers its not really important, but in .38 I want +P and in 9mm I want +P+.

and some at are local gun store. It was made by Remingtion but it dont have any other name on it.  It just says +p+ in red letters. and has some Law enforcement only crap on it

Winchester RA45TP-- 230gr bonded Ranger Talon +P, from the LE only line.

I don't think it is necessary.  But fun to shoot from time to time.

I run Georgia Arms +P 124 gr gold dots through my G19.  $35/100.  They are hot (1240 fps out of my G19), but no controllability issues.

BTW, $20 / 50 rds is a heck of a deal from a local shop for Speer gold dots.
