Anyone know how to fix the trigger?

Yes.

Sell the POS, use the money to buy a decent and actually useful pistol like a 1911 or Glock.

Unlike the M11, you can hit something with those. And harder if .40 or .45.

Thanks for the sarcastic reply, but I already have plenty of other handguns (couple 1911's, SIG's, Walthers, etc...). I ONLY keep the Cobray because it's a very non-PC gun.

Anyway, non-sarcastic replies addressing my original question are very much appreciated.

if the hammer slot is cut on the bottom of the semi-auto bolt it will cure "trigger slap" and make cocking it easier as well. Not really worth the work or the money but , to each their own.JMO

Arrgghh!!!!! Around '92 I bought one at a gunshow for $170 brand new, then sold it later that year for $140! I was a poor college student and needed the money. If only I had known.
On topic, I don't recall the trigger slap and have no idea how to fix it. Sorry for the "woe is me" hijack.

SKS's also went for around $150-$170 then, calico pistols with the 100 round magazine ran under $250 (the 9mm one), the list goes on. I wish I wouldve been able acquire a lot more of those gangster fun guns before the ban was in place, when they were cheap.
