[ARCHIVED THREAD] - Is there a term for us 1911 lovers?

For example the Colt (AR15) lovers are labeled 'kool-aid' drinkers.

Our case is a bit different due to the MARKED SUPERIORITY of the 1911 over any other handgun, but what would be the proper term?

In Ken Hackathorn's classes, he refers to those of us using 1911s as "those of you using the finest CQB weapon ever". Works for me.

If I was stupid and over loaded ammo I was reloading it'd blow a .45 to. This is why I don't reload.

show me one, just ONE civilian self defense shooting that required a JUSTIFIABLE expendature of that quanity of ammo.

Reality says that outside of a freefire war zone those types of shootings don't happen.

I won't even mention that it is the first few rounds fired that usualy deceide the outcome

of most self defense shootings
