Is the USP Compact Tactical (or CT-counter terrorist) model out yet? If so, who has them available?

Yes, the CT's are available. As to the availability of stock in your state, I have no idea.

I would bet on this being a "must have" now that The Teams have adopted it

Or have threatened to anyway.

I ordered five a couple / three of months ago, three arrived the tail end of February. Delivery on the remaining two are mid April.

Hmmm...I kinda like it. Though I'd have to replace the sights.

Any idea when a lowly guy such as myself will be able to get my hands on one of these?

And if you dont mind me asking, how much are they going for?

standard ambi safety/decocker? sure wish they would offer that standard on all the USP's

I have considered changing out one set of sights to Mepro's but, since these are not in the rotation of any dependency, they are likely to stay put...for now.

As to availability and pricing, I would suggest you Google: Phil Flack in NC. If I can locate his contact information I will post it here.

I too, wish the USP line came from the factory with ambi's as standard eq. These CT's were no different. I also do not use or like having the ability for the decocker, so the detents have been swapped out to 5/6/9 & 10.

Is the barrel threading same as the full size Tactical? I assume it is but want to make sure.

The word I have is that once the final version of the CT is made it will come with the tall Heinie type sights as did the first prototypes. Also, the CT will have the slide maked CT. The first prototypes did not have the slide marked nor did they have o-rings on the barrels, then the next set did have o-rings with the slide marked but short sights. The final version, the final production version is to have o-ring, tall sights, and marked CT.
