Just picked up one of those new GI .45 with 4" bbl, (nice gun for the price) and am wondering how difficult it is to change to a light-weight adjustable trigger. Is this something that should be left to the "pro's", or is it pretty basic?  Thanks.

Pretty simple.  Check out www.1911forum.com  There's a how-to tacked thread on installing one IIRC.
