I want to purchase a magwell for my SA 1911 and am looking at a Smith and Alexander.  Everyone advertises it as "no gunsmithing needed for install, fits in minutes".  Being a newbie 1911 owner, how does one install it?  I've been looking for directions all over the net and no dice!

Thanks!

You remove the mainspring housing pin. You really need to get/find a cutaway of a 1911, they're invaluable to have, IMO.

I have the Wilson Combat one that slips over the grip bushing things.

Its nice because I can put it on for playing at the range and then take it off pretty quick for carry.
