I got my Heinie Slant Pro sights in for my Glock 34 and am trying to install them.  What in the hell kind of tool do I need to screw the front sight screw in?  Please don't tell me I'm going to have to wait another week to order a tool.  Is there anything out there that works from Lowes, etc.?

run to the hardware store and pick up a 3/16" hex

That's what I tried, but it is too fat to fit down to the base of the screw.

you have to find a thin wall..I got mine at sears. You can do it with needle nose pliers... remember loctite and you don't want to torque it anyway

A needle nose pliers will work.  There maybe someone local who has the tool?

How did the rear sites go?  Installed them on a G19 and it did require some filing to get it to fit.

3/16" nut driver.  Looks like a screwdriver.

The skinniest one that I could find still had to be grinded down.  I was a little nervous for a while.  Thanks for all of the suggestions.

Yep, these work perfect. About $3.50 at Sears.

I had to thin down my purpose made front sight wrench with a file. Glock leaves little room in there compared to some other brands.

Here's what I did, take the socket and and a socket entension and place it in a drill.  Clamp a metal file on flat surface and use the drill to taper the outside edges of the socket buy holding it against the file.  Took all of 5 minutes and I used a rather fine tooth file.  Worked fine and have replaced the sights on a 19, 26 and 22.
