Ok, this may have been posted already but i can't find anything pretaing to it.   Is Black Talons, Ranger SXT, or Ranger T illegal to own or use in a self defense situation.  I like the ranger rounds, but don't want to get stomped on for using them.

Being in LA, you have no issues regarding ammunition.

However I would urge you in the strongest possible manner to avoid using Black Talon rounds for self defense.

The reason being, they have been out of production for over 10 years.  Whatever you get your hands on will be an unknown commidity.  Go with the SXT's.  Scuttlebutt has it that it stands for Same Xact Thing anyways.  

Please, only carry recent production ammo for self defense.

Do it for the children bad guys
