Archived [ARCHIVED THREAD] - Ideas for optics

I recently bought a Ruger MKII with a 10" bull barrel. the sights have been removed and its been drilled and tapped for a scope. any sugestions on good optics? red dot, halo, fixed power, ect.

I don't shoot handguns with optics but I have seen a lot of people use a Aimpoint Comp C for a red dot.  I also had a Comp C and it is an excellent red dot
