I found some one with a foster frame.I can get it for 160 bucks is this a good deal?
How much work would it be to build my own?[I am an auto mech. so tools are my friend]
Where do I find parts? apprx. how much will it cost to finish this?
SS singlestack Foster Industries (Caspian by another name) . Frame has Para/Clark ramp cut and a heavier dustcover(conv. 1911 length, just no relief cut-straight)
That is the info on the frame
Thanks
Rob

I used a Foster frame and slide for a build a few years back. I wouldn't do it again.

Buy a Kimber or Springy and shoot it.

Foster Industries is the name Caspian uses for off-spec frames, so there is something wrong with it. They sell at Camp Perry for $80 every year.

First quality Caspian frames are $185 MSRP, so I don't think the price quoted is a bargain.

Plan on ~$500 for the rest of the parts you'll need.
