Don't tell anyone I was here.

Long time Glock nay sayer here . I finally broke down a week ago and got a Glock 19 basically because I liked the looks and I figured I could make fun of them more if I also said I owned one.

Well I love the damn thing. I got used to the trigger. Used to the feel. I love it.

Now I am thinking about another one. One to replace one of my..*gulp*..1911's. JMB is gonna kick my ass.

I really like my Kimber Ultra Carry 1911. Accurate. Light n' lovely 1911 trigger. Factory mag sucked and caused jams, but it does not jam at all now with my current mag. But this Tupperware stuff is intriguing me.

Anyone have both guns for a couple side by side pics?
Anyone carry or used to carry a G36 and not like it?
Thoughts?

Another Glock Hype Hater hear, but I come across a good deal on a G36 and love the thing. While it ain't gonna replace my 1911's, it does serve a useful purpose when a lighter carry peice is needed.

Here's mine in my DeSantis SOB holster...  It's my favorite carry piece.  Smaller than a G19 and can be fitted to hold 8 rounds (grip extesion - see first review below)

And here are a couple of great links about the G36...

I think Glock would find a good market in the U.S. for a fullsize single stack w/ a 8rnd. mag. and a 4.5"-5.0" barrel. I would buy one.

Why would you want a fullsize singe stack?  I just don't get it. . . .

I really like my Glock 19.  But I will never buy a Glock 21.  I tried.  It's just to thick for my hand.  I can't get a grip on it.  A single stack might do the trick.

I always thought the same thing but I finally gave in and bought one.  After several months of dry fire and a 3 day class I find that it actually fits my hands very well and I shoot it better than any of my other pistols.  But for most other people a single stack would be a much better fit, and the G36 does feel very comfortable when I've fondled it a the local gunshop.

+1

The large frame .45/10mm are too large for my hands. However, I would be ALL OVER a 9+1 single stack full size 10mm GLOCK.

I have LOTS of 1911's and each Glock 9 mm and then a Glock 36.

I love the 36 and carry it when I need something easy to hide with some serious power.
I just sent it off to get a grip shave and stipple the other day, I can't wait to get it back.

I tend to carry my Glock 19 quite a bit in the winter when I have thick clothing on.

I also carry my Commander or officer sized 1911's quite a bit.

Unless I am going with pocket carry, those are the only things I will carry....  If pocket carry its my S&W 340PD or Rohrbaugh.
