Did any of you go to the IDPA Nationals?  I was wondering what your impressions were.  I had a great time, and shot at about my level (middle of the pack, CDP/EXP)

One other interesting thing...  I stopped at the Wilson Combat table, where they had numerous guns laid out for shooting (with free ammo!).  I asked if I could shoot the CQB.  Shooting on steel plates, it jammed on the 5th round out of magazine.  Wilson didn't look too good.  Ouch!  Good thing for them that there weren't potential customers standing around.  I'm too much of a cheapskate to spend that much on a gun.

I was there. I didn't like the way the no-shoot targets had the hands on the outside of the targets. Normally they are painted on the body. Yes I double tapped a no-shoot.

For once, I didn't make a single mental error.  I wish I had shot a little better / faster, but no big blunders or penalties.  I did miss one shot on a mover in the convience store robbery stage.  That was the most challenging of all of them in my opinion.

The only real down side for me was that I had a very long drive from the Cleveland area to Arkansas.
