Glock parts sent me a package today, and I ordered another 9mm extractor and a .45ACP extractor.

One came in a marked bag, which matched with the 9mm part number, so I know its 9mm.

However, one thing that is bothering me...these things look nearly identical. How can I tell them apart if they ever get mixed together? I took them out to look at them, figuring I'd be able to see something, but now I'm worried whether or not I put the right extractor back in the marked bag

Any way to ID them?

Thanks,
Scott

Don't have a 9mm so I can't comment on that but I do have both 45 and 10mm extractors and if you put the 10mm in a 45 slide, the outside just sticks up from the slide more than the 45 version does. It doesn't reach farther in towards the firing pin because the 10mm's slide has a deeper cut for it's extractor so in a 45 slide it just sticks out farther.
