A guy I know wants to sell me his early 90's pistol, no decocker model in 99%+ condition. What is it worth. He is asking $350 but I can buy a new one for that price, so I want to make a counter offer but I can't find any of the older no decocker models for sale to compare prices. Any and all help will be appreciated.

Really nice, almost new condition, I'd offer 2/3-3/4 of what a new one would cost. Your buddy won't like that very much, but that's a realistic price range.
He wouldn't get that much selling it to a dealer, you said yourself that you could buy a new PT92 for what he's asking.
The PT92AF is a good gun, I like mine just fine.

In the DFW area, they're about $250~275.

A couple years ago I bought a fix me upper for $150 really a worn down blue, took it to get a brushed chrome look, one of the most reliable guns I had just a little too big for CCW in Florida.....
