I'm close to this. I weigh 195 out the shower and about 210 with everything else.

Damn. I carry an LCR .357, iPhone, 2 keys and a money clip. Probably weighs less than 3lbs.

Clothes should always be a part of EDC...then again no one's going to try to mug the naked guy with a gun.

I don't step on scales anymore.

Evil things.

Mine should be very similar to this because my daily carry items are very similar. A little heavier because I also have a spare mag.

Wallet, 2 phones, Strider SMF or Benchmade AFO II, Leatherman Skeletool CX, keys, Surefire E2D, Glock 19 in a MTAC, 17 round spare magazine, and a tube of Chapstick.

PF9 (loaded) - 18.1 ounces
SOG Mini Aegis - 2 ounces
Four Sevens Preon 2 - 2.4 ounces
Leatherman Juice S2 - 4.4 ounces

That's a total of 26.9 ounces or 1.68 lbs. Add a couple ounces for the Remora Holster and I'm still under 2 pounds for a light, knife, multi-tool and firearm. Not too shabby.

Isn't a pistol and a spare mag a bit ridiculous?

As I said, the 14 pounds includes boots and clothes, belt, holster, and mag carrier.

When I run, I wear my EDC. I work out at home.

The ridiculous comment was out of line. My 14 pounds is only one pistol and two spare mags. A lot of people would say it's ridiculous to carry a gun at all.

Same with me. I include my Lucchese boots and clothes, phone, keys, Schrade knife, flashlight, sunglasses, Glock 17 with spare mag and holsters for both, watch.

Who needs to work out when you do your day-to-day doings with 15-20 extra pounds!? That's like an all day workout!

Your EDC pics you have posted are MUCH more than pistol and 2 spare mags, unless you have changed that up. Not saying there is an issue with it, I would just love to see how you carry your EDC while running. Do you run in jeans and boots and all that gear?
Not sure why you are offended by me saying 20 lbs is a bit ridiculous...sorry if it hurt your feelings. Thats not comparable at all to people saying carrying a gun is ridiculous.

Someone is being obtuse... And it isn't like him.

What is your EDC other than when you go into a court room?

What is your EDC other than when you walk into the weight room?

What is your EDC other than when you go the the pool?

Really? This needs Lawyer speak for everyone to understand?

I thought the OP intent was pretty clear.

My Winter clothes weigh more than my Summer clothes, but this morning the difference of me in my undies from today's 'EDC' is about 10lbs.
Link Posted: 3/18/2013 8:17:03 PM EDT
~12lb...hate to see it back inthe day
Link Posted: 3/18/2013 10:28:17 PM EDT
Yes, my feelings are so hurt.

I meant my 14 pounds is not three pistols and a dozen mags, just one Glock and two mags. Yes, there's knives and a light etc. But my 14 pounds includes the belt, boots, holster, mag carriers, etc. You just speculated that your weight couldn't be more than 5 pounds.

You'd be surprised by how the little things add up.
