Hot wife jogs once a day in our little town. Safe area and she has a few routes she take to mix it up. She has a E and E plan for each route and she is always is very attentive to her surroundings. We live in nice area and have lots great neighbors. Never had any problems at all in our town in seven years but she still errors on the armed and ready side. I am just having problems finding a good way for her to take a gun.

Fanny packs and purses are out. No good for running. Maybe a tight fitting back pack with a waist strap? That would slow down deployment of the "gtf out of my way snubby" but at least she would have it and a few other small thing she might need.

Thanks for any help.

Camelback makes some nice tight fitting small backpacks. Not a very fast draw but at least she'll have it.

Check the other thread. Razzman1 has a link to a near perfect running pack that will hold a compact handgun and is made for runners. Amazon sells them. It's called the Nathan Sport Gel Pack.

There are small packs they used to sell for CD walkmans before ipods and such came out that strap around you and go to the small of your back. This is the area with least impact (for cd player skipping) and the cases are quite light and ride high enough so as not to get in the way of any movement.

Yeah. The rules don't just apply to GD. Post link to BOTD thread.

On second thought, that's a bad idea. Just post regular pics.

Does anyone make a leg wrap style holster that would be worn on the upper thigh (on the outside of the leg), concealed by the running shorts?

ETA- you get a mod to ok post it in this thread, we'll see about it. Till then, no more key board humping. And watch it. She's reading this. Y'all going to get me in problems.

There is a chick that runs miles every day around this town.  Unsure if carrying (hope she is) , she is way to predictable (same time place, every day)..please encourage your wife to not be predictable.  Although I enjoy watching parts move as I drive by, there are freaks out there.

I just use my regular carry belt and my regular carry holster (Archangel appendix carry).  I do not wear shorts that have belt loops when I run, so I just wrap the belt around my waist.

I find it works just fine, no discomfort at all when I run (and I trail run too, over rocks, logs, roots, streams etc, which requires more dynamic leg movement that just street running) and keeps the setup consistent between everyday carry and running.

My hot lady decides to carry with a fanny pack.  I have run with one, but I feel access is too compromised...BUT as far as comfort it worked just fine.

I think a belly band or one of those undershirts with a holster sewn in would be the best bet for male or female joggers. This is my advice and it stays on topic.

Off topic, you should of just said "wife" and not "hot wife" because all your gonna get is pic requests now. So, uh yea....where's the pic?

The Eagle Industries runner concealment pouch that I have works really well for jogging. It's nice to have my J frame along while jogging out here in the sticks.

5.11 holster shirt, i think it would actualy look low key like any typical piece of work out clothing a chick would wear, its just like under armour and the gun is quickly pulled out if needed.

I  firmly believe that you should only run when chased but the Army makes me do it anyway. While jogging I carry either my Kel-tec P3AT with the frame mounted clip or my S&W 642 with a clip draw attachment. clipped inside the drawstring of my running shorts. If you have the drawstring tight enough they don't move much and I've never lost one while running.

I use an old belt underneath my shorts-and above my underwear- to clip my KelTec PF9 under my shorts for CCW running, with shirt off of course.

CLICKBANGBANG, my advice to you is: send hot wife to me and allow me to assist her in the proper fit/placement.

Bellyband.

Pouches are annoying as hell because they tend to bounce around.  I tried using a fannypack/hipsack exactly once.
Those compression short holsters aren't all that great depending on the person's shape.  The gun in that video was pretty noticeable if you weren't distracted by her tits.  It also might not be the most comfortable place for carry, especially for a shorter waisted person.

There was a gun in the video?

I can concur that fanny packs bounce around especially when you have either a full size 1911 or M9 with spare mags and folding knife.  I find it better to run with the armament on the off side (9 o'clock) and pull it tight.  I'm not worried about signaling that I'm armed as I'm running in combat hot zones.  For the times that I've been home a very small and lightweight pistol in the side pocket worked.

Galco used to make one for wear under a dress/skirt.  Not sure if they still make it.

If you are set on the 38 a belly band (IIRC some one made one specifically for joggers that rode horizontally above the middle of the back).

Other than that some type of murse might be in order.

This is a tech forum.  Post a picture of the solution so that we know how to set up our hot wives when they go jogging.  It would be irresponsible of you not to help us out.
