I've read the FAQs and guides on the net but was wondering if any one on the board has had any experience completeing an 80% 1911 frame.  It looks like the hardest part is cutting the rails and then fitting the parts in.  I do not have a jig or mill and also wondering if any one has completed one with only had tools or a dremel?

Thanks

Check out the link section of  Footpounds in the "How to" section. Some guys used dremels and a file to finish the frames in a few hours.
