Obviously I have to obtain an FFL to ship....but what do I do with it? Do I give it to the package shipper?

Who do I ship with USP..FED-EX?????
How does it have to be shipped? Overnight...next day???

Thanks in advance

I just had to send one out of state myself....

(Notice the Quotations because information varies, I know because i was told about 4 different things from various people)
So I personally called both UPS and Fedex they both told me:

"Only authorized shipping centers will handle firearms and still need to be sent FFL to FFL."

UPS and Fedex both told me "OH....Sending a pistol has to go overnight express and that is gunna cost ya"

I got lucky though,.. my local Dealer said it wasnt a problem to send it for me and not to worry about any handling fee or anything just postage.(some FFL's charge a handling fee varying in price)

So i brought it to him and we packed the pistol and everything in a shipping box right their in his shop.
He also has a firearm shipping form he fills out to send pistols through USPS..says its way cheaper this way.
I asked him what i owed him for shipping and he said $15-$20 should cover it...UPS or FedEx i guess would have run closer to $35-40 overnight.

Hopefully this helps a little
