Ok i know ive posted two topics already over IWB conceal holsters but this is just not cutting it at all. Ive been to several gun shops and tried theres but there too bulky. I have a G27 that i will be concealing and i know that Glock doesnt make the thinest firearms but thats the only thing i will trust my life with. Im 5'8 and 140 pounds and cant find crap that fits comfortably. If your curios on how im fitting the weapon on me, if you look straight down at your feet and your crotch area is 12 o'clock and your direct right side is 3 oclock, its around 1:30 were in trying to conceal at. I have a good double t hickness belt and thats not the problem its just all holsters i have tried are too thick. Im looking into the Galco summer special II and Threat Solutions holsters but no one has those around here to try on. Seriosly guys please help if you have any solutions. I need a holster thats extremely thin but nothing cheap. Thanks.

Look hard at the FIST kydex holsters. They are the thinnest I know of and are very well designed and built. Using the "appendix" position you describe, I have found that a holster with widely set belt attachments does not work well for me and that something like their "J Hook" that hangs straight down is more comfortable. That said, I much prefer a behind the hip carry position (around 4 o c;ock). Unfortunately, like almost all who get serious about carrying a pistol, you will probably end up spending lots of time and money on holsters that don't do what you need before you find one that does.

Get the Threat Solutions UCR. It is the most comfortable and concealable holster I have ever used. It works so well you should have no problem concealing your G27 in the normal 3:00-4:00 position. I can easily conceal my G19 under a normal fitting T-shirt using the UCR. It holds the weapon's butt much closer to your body and adds almost no thickness to the weapon. If you can conceal your G27 tucked into your pants with no holster, you can conceal it with the UCR. Give it a try. I second the move to kidney carry (4:00 - 4:30) from appendix (1:30-2:00) for IWB.

I can conceal my Ruger P93 or P89 IWB easier kidney than appendix. I wear my cellphone at 3:00 to help "bulk out" in front of the gun and it makes the shirt flow better to hide the pistol as well.

I also got about 100 lbs on you too, so I'm sure that makes a difference in it as well.

Try the Milt Sparks Watch Six. It's very similar to his VM-2 but it's thin as heck, and very comfortable.

I'd suggest you move your gun around behind your hip where it will be more easily concealed and probably more comfortable to carry.

I'm still quite in love with my Milt-Sparks Summer Special 2. It's as thin as 2 pieces of leather and your gun inbetween them lol

Seriously though I think it feels great and I've been wearing it every day I don't go to college. Now I am a bigger guy than you though, so you're going to probably want to get some more opinions.

Any of the quality IWB suggested should work. I use the Rosen ARG. But you need to move the gun to 3:30 or 4 o clock position. Get your pants one size larger or at least loose fit. And wear the rig for a week to get used to it. Putting one on in a gunshop for a few minutes won't do it. To quote Clint Smith "Guns are comforting, not comfortable".

I am your general stats, this is what works for me:

IWB: Rosen ARG: Fits good, offset belt loops that really helps when you have a small waist.

Outside: Rosen or Kramer, no question about it.

And the master of all IWB's VMII!

The VMII, while a little thick at the mouth, is by far the most comfortable of any of the 20 or more IWB's I've owned! Proper dress, a proper belt, and you are G2G! There are several guys smaller than you who conceal full sized pistols everyday with the VMII!

Thanxs for the help so far guys. Ive checked into several of the holsters that most have refered to and i see a few that i like. But i need one very soon. I had a bad problem in Kroger's the other day. All i have to say is----------------Mexican style carry + No holster = Walking from the bakery all the way on the other side of the damn ice cream where the bathrooms are like a retard holding a huge bulg around your ankle. Check out Mitch Rosen's Express Line. You can order a complete rig and have it in 2-3 weeks or less. And I wouldn't mexican carry a Glock, you want that trigger covered with rigid material. Otherwise you may have a more permanent problem with your walk.

+1. On Glocks, I'd not use leather. CTAC also allows you to tuck in shirt, in which respect VM-II cannot live up to even with the available optional plastic. CTAC is the best holster I've used so far.

Mexican carry with a Glock?? At leat buy one of those cheap Uncle mikes IWb holsters to hold you over until you get a higher quality one. I think it might be a size 1.

Well, I just ordered a IWB adjustable cant, tuckable holster and matching mag pouch in kydex last week. I will post pics when I get them in a couple weeks.
