Is any of this still available. It is by Hirtenberger 100gr truncated Softpoint 9mm +p. Some said that the German and Austrian Police/Swat use them. Does anyone no of vendors still selling this?

I haven't seen it for sale in a long time. I still have about a case of it left. I got it from Tennessee Guns probably 10 years ago or so.
I also heard that it was designed for Police/Swat use for barrier penetration, and is actually headstamped as +P+.

The label on the boxes reads:
50 Cartridges 9mm Luger
100 grs Soft Point FL-Bullet
Law Enforcement Grade

Headstamp on the brass reads:

You can still find it now and again at gunshows.

Good stuff
Designed to be fired specifically in a Glock

The bullet design itself is nothing special. It's the super high velocity that everyone loves.

The accuracy is super out of my g34 and g26, I've one box left, I'm saving it for that special something.

Four or five years ago, I read a review of this ammo in a LE journal/mag. They gave it high marks. More of a SWAT speacialty round. Of the test, 50-60% of the shots penetrated a front panel of a level II/IIA vest. 1300fps is pretty fast. Seems the lead was acting like a lubricant, similar to teflon. I have seen it at the fun show in Wichita/KS once.

I found a box of this at the last fun show.
I was scrounging thru a tub of misc. ammo and found a complete box of 50 rds.
Paid $5 for them.
Very good stuff.
