I've got an older hi-power that had some bad pitting one side.  I'm working on removing the pitting and re-finishing as well as adding an extended ambi safety but figured I may as well have the slide milled for a dovetail front sight and add night sights while I'm at it.  Is there a standard cut type for HP's?  If not, what's the most common?  I've seen tru-dot and various other sights in front and rear dove-tail cuts but they don't give any dimensions.  Any help would be great!

Thanks

Really?  No info on this in the Browning handgun forum?

AFAIK there is no standard type cut on any BHP sights. Novac's site says both the type II and type III BHP's have to be milled to accept their sights so I think that says it all.
