Well, got my Browning Hi Power back from Mr. Williams (Actionworks) today.

Work performed:
Trigger job with CS hammer
Beavertail
Harrison rear sight, red FO sight
Stipple front/back strap
Extended safety
Satin reblue.

Craig Spegel grips

This pistol started off as a brand new Browning Hi Power, so I did not have a new barrel installed or too much internally touched. Can't wait to take it to the range.

Well that's pretty sweet.  I've never noticed a safety like that.  Ambi but retains the MkIII type on the right side.   I actually had mine removed.  The right side that is.  I should get some pics up, but it's not anything earth shattering.

There was a slight miscommunication. An extended right side safety lever will be en route shortly.

Oh yea, it's a great combo!

What trigger is that in the gun?

Stock trigger. Looks like the blue turned out a little plum!

That wouldn't bother me a bit, just character.

I was more curious about the profile.  Looks like the pad is wider than the shank?

The HP looking similar to what you have there is on my "list".  That thing is pure sex.

Cylinder and Slide makes one similar to that, they call it their combat trigger, but theirs has no channel (or pin hole) for the magazine disconnect and there is not a sort of ledge like that one has, so that one is not the current version of the C&S.

It got the C&S trigger and retrofitted all my HP's, I really like that version.

C&S trigger

Aware of the C&S part, it's obviously not that.

I think it's just a variation in Browning parts.  Here's a stock photo from MIdway of the gold plated trigger that appears to have the same profile as OPs: https://www.midwayusa.com/product/1004242699/browning-trigger-hi-power

I wonder if they've started using that wide profile trigger across the board.  Regardless, your pistol looks fantastic, it's a perfect "Grail" Hi Power IMHO.

ETA: Sure enough, just looked on Browning's website and the photos of Mk IIIs have that style trigger in them.  Cool.
