So if the Tec 22 sucks, are there any other 22 pistols that can hold a large capacity?  Large being 20 or more rounds.  The only other 22 pistols I can find that has more than 10 rounds are the mountain eagle that holds 15 and the Charter Arms Explorer which holds 15.

There's a company that makes a .22 pistol based on the Ruger 10/22 action.  You will be able to use any standard/hi-cap 10/22 mag in it.

Build an AR pistol using a chopped-down DPMS .22LR upper and the (soon to be available) 25rnd mags. If you like shitty customer service and outrageous prices, you could go with a JA Ciener caliber conversion kit instead.

volquartsen makes a 10/22 pistol derivative.  I think it was called the Cheetah.

Also, Charter Arms manufactured the Explorer II, which took the same mags as the AR7.

Having played around with an CA  AR7, I am not sure I wouldn't want the Intratec over the Explorer.

eta:  ramline made some steel-bodied 14 rounders for the Mark II before the 1994AWB.  Like many things Ramline, however, they may have sucked.

Everyones forgetting the highest capacity 22lr pistol ever maid the Calico with it's 100rd horizontal drum mag. You may see them from time to time at gun shows. They are no longer being produced that I know of. Oh ya and they demand a premium price.
