I picked up some Hornady 45 230 gr XTP +P rounds for for my carry gun the other day. The gun is a USP compact 45. I Went and shot some through the gun the other day and all is well. The problem is I cleared my gun the other day since, and it didn't want to extract. I damn near had to beat on it until it finally gave. I tried a few different rounds and a few different mags but the same problem happens. I cycled them through my S&W 4506 and there is no problem at all. Is this common with these rounds or is it the gun? I don't want to bet my life on something that might jam when I really need it.

Thanks for the help

The casing rims are thicker on Hornady XTP's and they are hanging in your weapons extractor. Shoot Safe.
