I am interested in purchasing a H&K pistol, probably a H&K USP 40. At the moment I am learning about the H&K line of pistols.   What is the recoil reduction system that I read about for the H&K? Will it work on all H&K pistols? Thanks

All hk USP have the recoil reduction system.  It is not an add on part.

it is basically a dual recoil spring system. one spring for most of the slide travle back then another when the slide is ending its rearward movment.

Whatever it is, it works.

Actually, the .45 compact has an additional polymer shock buff on the recoil apring asy & guide rod. As I don't own a USP other than a .45, I don't know if the other calibers have it as well?

Damn fine guns, though!
