There is a guy on the Sigforum saying that he called HK to ask about the price of hi capacity magazines and was told that HK does not plan on producing them despite the sunsetting of the ban. Has anyone else heard this? I assume that we would still be able to buy LE mags, but this is definitely not a good thing.

Even if they dont, then they will still obviously be making them for law enforcement/military. Just order those :-)

Yep, let's bust HK's balls based on hearsay from some guy on a *SIG* forum. They're already making the mags for Europe.. all they have to do is turn off the machine that did the LE stamp on them. Don't believe the hype. |

I realize this is hearsay, but this dovetails consistently with their stated position in the past regarding neutered products for the civilian market. Fucksticks, I say. If they prove us wrong, then I will admit they are maybe not as much of a pack of fucksticks as I figured. |

If they don't offer full capacity mags for their handguns, they'll just see their market share slip to zero. No matter how PC they would like to be, if they want to sell handguns, they will have to offer what the market demands.

Did anyone miss this??? I often buy from dealers who are LEO/.Mil dealers as well.....they will have the mags.......which means I will have the mags too........

They will be available, although it is possible that H&K themselves may not directly import and sell them to the public for a while.

I have already ordered 3 new *previously* LEO USP9 15 round mags from cals sporting armory - they are now sold out of these but have various other HK hicap LEO mags for sasle to everyone now.
They are going fast - if you want them you might to take a look now if you want HK hicap mags for your HK pistol. CDNN is also dumping their new and demo LEO Pistol mags - HK USP40 15 rounders for $29, glock 17 17 rounders $14.99, going fast..... |

Hell, keep em and import your mags from Europe. Forgot we can do that now. Either way, you can get em ;-) No big deal. I don't like it, but im not going to sell my MK23 over it either.

Well, H&K just recently got a major contract with the Feds to supply several milion dollars worth of P2000's in all calibers...including .357 Sig...so my guess is that they want to remaim "deniable" where this stuff is concerned. The Germans could care less about sales, just as long as they can say that "H&K did not import" the mags!
I ain't getting rid of my best USP 45f! |

According to the Botach (yes, I know) email special of the day, they are out there (or going to be).
They had 13 and 15-round mags for the USP9C and USP9, as well as links to Glock and Sig mags. Still very pricey, however. |
