I ve got a HK USP .45. Awesome machine it is.
CCF makes some type of flash suppressor for the USP. This requires a threaded barrel (that they sell-I think).
Does the sound suppressor and the flash suppressor use the same thread design?
Will the sound suppressor even allow a USP to cycle properly?
I own a preban AR15 so I can legally have a flash suppressor mounted to the barrel of it. Can I attach either a flash or sound suppressor to my HK USP without landing in a "federal pound-me-in-the-ass prison"?
Thanx for the help.
The CCF/B&T and KAC suppressors for the Tactical and Mark 23 (and some others) contain a recoil booster (called a "Nielsen device") so these will make the gun cycle properly.
Those without the booster rely on light weight to allow the gun to cycle.
I have an original B&T suppressor on my Mark 23 and have never had a malfunction with it mounted.
You can attach a suppressor on your USP if your state allows it. Some states like CA says NO....
If the barrel has the same threads as the Tactical (probably the best choice) or the Mark 23, you can get as flash suppressor for it.
Beware that suppressors are VERY addictive! You might find an irresistable urge to get more after you try it on your HK....
