Archived [ARCHIVED THREAD] - HELP looking for a person who can checker grips

I want to make a custom set of Carbon Fiber 1911 grips checkered 20LPI classic double diamond pattern

Carbon Creations says there grips can be checkered but it is labor intensive and will ruin a cutter in 10 pairs of grips.

I am prepared to spend $100 OR MORE ON LABOR ALONE.

I am having trouble finding anyone who makes grips (most companies are too big to care about custom jobs.)

IIRC, Ajax grips does some custom work.
