Dammit guys,

I'm sitting here cleaning my collection, and I'm buffing out a slight scratch underneath my trigger guard when I hear a "Clack"

The Trigger guard has locked up into its "Upward and locked position" but I still have the barrel and spring sitting on my bed.

I tried everything: First off I said "Shit" 15-25 times, then I tried pulling it down and outwards like you would to normally dissassemble it.

I'm in a bad way here fellas, any help would be greatly appreaciated.

Haha, oh shit

Good thing I'm not "The guy with his finger on 'the button'."

I kinda jumped the gun there fellas.

I sat down for a moment after posting here, focused my chi, and pulled downward and outward

"Click"

Situation back to normal!

Relieved,

I assume you mean the slide and spring since the barrel is pressed and pin'd in place on the CZ 83. Proper disassembly is to pull the front of the trigger guard forward and then down. With the slide removed, just place your index finger through the trigger guard and support your thumb on the front, lower part of the receiver and pull straight forward and then down. Should work. If it doesn't, I'd suggest a call to CZ-USA and ask for the resident gunsmith, Mike.

<Nevermind. Glad to hear you've recovered> Mike
