Hey guys, I'm really new to Walthers so if this a stupid question, go easy on me. My dad and I bought a used Walther PP in 9mm Police. We aren't sure if this pistol uses the same grips as a PPK-S or a standard PP. We found some grips on CDNN that are for a PP oe PPK-S. Will these fit our pistol? If you need a photo, I can post one. Any advice you have would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

The PP & PPK/S use the same grips. The PPK has a shorter grip that wraps around the back of the pistol. The CDNN grips should fit fine. If its a PP Super Im not sure which grips it takes.

9mm Police? Or 9mm Super? Is it ia 9x18? There were a few of them around but the grips are very different than a PP. A photo would clarify it.

It's 9x18 Police, the round looks like a Makarov, but different. I'll try and get a photo posted soon.

Ive never seen a PP or PPK/S in 9X18 but that doesnt mean theyre not out there. Most PPSupers were 9X18 with a few in 9X17. Or so Ive been told.

If it's a super you're out of luck, I think. They have a grip that isn't shared by any other Walther. If it's a .32 or .380 than the PPKs grips will work fine. Try eBay.

The grip of the PP super is completely different. Your best bet would be to contact Nill in Germany. But it won't be cheap. It is a rare gun, even over htere.

The PP Super had several names. 9x18, 9 Super, 9 mm Police. Actually, Walther had experiemented with a 9x18 late in the war and Makarov just took the Walther PP design and the cartridge from the looted factory and built his gun around it.

A word of caution to the owners of Walther PP Super pistol. The scarce 9x18mm Police/Ultra ammunition is NOT compatible with Soviet 9x18 Makarov PM ammunition. Attempts to fire 9x18 Makarov ammunition from PP Super pistol are very dangerous due to the larger diameter of 9mm Makarov bullet.

If it is a 9x18 it is a PP Super and therefore I doubt that those grips will fit
