New to my collection. I got the S/S slide and this thing is nice! I have never owned any Ruger autos until recently. Got a P345(.45ACP) and love the way it feels and the way it shoots so I looked at other Rugers in 9mm this time and I was "waffleing" between the P95(composite frame) or the P94(alloy frame). The P95 has a rail and the P94 does not.
I don't need a rail on this gun. I have many other guns with a rail.
I decided on the P94 because the weight difference was not that much different and I have the option to put Hogue grips on the 94.
I am going to the range on Friday and I'll see how this thing shoots.
I always like getting a new gun.

congrats. i love my p95. i have heard and based on what i have seen the p94 looks like it is a bit better in terms of fit and finish than the rest of the p series.

I had a P-94 many moons ago. It was a great pistol. Ate every damn brand of ammo you fed it.

Congrats on the new pistol

Congrats. I had a 94 once and like they said "It ate everything". It never malfunctioned on me one time that I remember and hit what I aimed at good enough. I do like my P345 a lot better though as far as the ergo dept.
