Nice pistol!

I have always used 230gr. standard velocity ammo in my 220's and they have all performed exceptionally well for me. For carry, I like both the WW Ranger T and CCI Gold Dot JHP. I am not sure a bad guy would know thw difference if hit with either. For range use I buy Federal American Eagle in bulk, 1000rd. at a time, but the Wallyworld WW white box is also good.

Accuracy is very good...target grade, actually... with these guns, but sights and trigger are, of course, designed for service pistol use and not targets, so getting extreme accuracy from it may be difficult. (By that, I mean under 4 inches at 50yd)

Your 220 cannot, so far as I know, be changed to another caliber with only a barrel swap, due to the size of the breech face...it is a .45 only proposition.

Grab some extra factory or MegGar magazines, a good holster and some ammo and enjoy!
