I got this today for $475...Good deal or not? I have a Kimber TLE and a Para Ordnance LTC that I really like but have wanted a Stainless one for a while. I kinda don't like the target sights so might change them. Any ideas?

I think there are replacement fixed sights that will fit the Bomar style cuts.

Great base gun..... I'd send it to a smith for a few extra touches though.

I thought so but wasn't sure. I know nothing about Springfield. It is pretty though.

what would you have done? My other 1911s have checkered front strap so that will probably happen here too. Then the sights to combat tritiums if they are available for this slide...

Wow, awesome deal! Usually $800-900. I assume it is in 45? There is a Loaded Target in 9mm. They are great guns, I bought a Loaded Parkerized the day after Christmas and its been great. I've only put 200 rounds through it but its been completely reliable. Harrison makes some sights that fit the rear LPA sight cut.

ETA:  You might want to change out the two piece guide rod for a GI setup.

Yeah its .45. Can't wait to shoot it tomorrow. Thanks for the heads up on the sights

Great deal!

Not sure, but are those the same sights as the Springfield Range Officer?

With the money you saved, should be able to afford to send that off to SACS for a little work.

Im not sure on the Range Officer model. I don't know much about them.

I have a stainless Loaded also. It is a very good pistol, and mine isn't picky about magazines or bullet shape- it will feed anything.
I did replace the extractor- after many thousand rounds.
You might check the extractor tension. Some Loaded pistols have had a problem with the extractor being tight causing feeding problems.

Having the front strap checkered will improve the grip. I just use a set of Pachmeyer grips.

Mine doesn't look as good as yours. It has a lot of wear and is setup for match shooting- Weigand mount and a reddot, trigger, etc.

Saw that one, would have called if I didn't have to repair my wife's bumpers (my doing at the range not her)
