I did a search and couldn't find anything.  I have a Galco FLETCH holster for my compact .45 and need a good belt for it.  What do you use and how well do you like or dislike it.  What would you recommend?  Thanks, in advance!

I have two gun belts.

Galco COP belt and the AKER B21.

The Aker is the best belt I've ever owned.  It has a polymer insert sangwiched between the leather which gives it stiffness and TOTALLY eliminates leather deformation!

PLUS it will match your FLETCH!

Next to a good leather gunbelt, Wilderness makes the 5 Stitch Instructor's Belt.  Cheap multiple colors, and they work!  They also make the CSM (Combat Shooter's Model) that has a platic reinforcement to make it even stiffer.

+1 on the Wilderness 5 stitch.
The Aker is a very stiff belt but I could'nt ever get rid of the "leather on leather" rubbing sound so I tend to use the Wilderness more with my Alessi holster.

Another rec. for the Wilderness, I recently bought their Frequent Flyer in 3 stitch for my compact 1911. It is sufficient, but if I were to order again (and I will be) I'd like to give the 5 stitch a try. I got it in 1 1/2 inch, seems to have been a good choice. I got the Coyote and it's very nice.

T Bone (Detroit).

Galco also makes a good belt - i use one with my high ride concealable.
its pre-shaped to fit and very stiff - nice finish and matches the holster - kind of an odd thing to think about for something no one is supposed to see!

I use Galco Fletch holsters for my 1911 and Sig P220... my Safariland 1.5 inch belt supports them perfectly... http://www.safariland.com/products.asp?id=178

+1 - If they can be had for $40, I'll order two (I need a couple of new belts).
