ive carried a glock 35 long slide 40 tacical.for several years...i hit the 45 acp bug.....so im going to the XD 45 5inch for duty carry.. what yall think?? worried i miss my glock!!!!

IF I move away from the 1911 platform the 45 XD is what I'm going with...14, 15, whatever of 45 ACP...hard to pass up.

Personal choice.

My opinion would be to keep the G35. It is a great gun. Maybe shoot the XD, do some drills, and see if you like it better. Slow fire is one thing, but I find that when the pace picks up, I can shoot the full size Glocks a lot better than an XD, Sig, HK, etc.

Caliber would be last on my list of reasons to switch platforms.

that was my thinking also. but i went with the long slide XD 45!! hoping it be sim to my glock!!!

buy the xd. i'm against anyone selling one gun to get the next cause you usually can't go back!
