Great, so now we have series II glocks, just like series I and II kimbers.

No, he said they were offering them as an add on, like night sights.

I took my G27 in to the smith to have night sights installed when it did come with them originally.  At this point in time the only way to get that lock thing is for it to come from Austria that way.  RIF.

What i said  and how you took it are two very different things. let me type slower for you....

The internal locking system that glock is offering is a factory option , like their factory night sightes ( glock housing with mep inserts). There is no way to purchase this feature without buying the pistol with it already on.

I hope  that was clear enough this time. I'd hate to confuse someone with all those large words i was using in my prior statement

It's a built in lock fitted in the hollow of the back channel. It uses a flat key with a bunch of countersinks instead of teeth. This is what it shows in the Glock Annual. I haven't seen one and don't want to.

Gee, I'm glad you helped me out.  I have problems with big words, on occasion.

But, I can send a slide to Smyrna Monday along with a Money Order for $60 and get the same night sights they put on the pistols that ship from the factory.
