Gander Mountain is having a promotion until the end of the day today that all Glock's instock at the store are $499.99.  Does this seem like a fair price for a new Glock?  Not sure what Gen.  Just looking at getting my first Glock and the price seemed appealing.

$499 is high for most models and average for others....

then include shipping and FFL or tax and you are at reg retail

good prices around here are about $489 for most models, $529 for 10mm or 45acp and $575 for G34/G35.

honestly I don't know why people pay retail. I am all for supporting the little man if they work with me a bit... but with GSSF pricing and online prices you can get just about any clock for under $500

example is a G19

$425 GSSF
$25 FFL
$5 BG

$455 OTD

even even if you are new to GSSF you add $35 to that and you are still under $500 OTD

That's more than a fair price from Gander Mtn. Usually they ask 599.00+ for their Glocks. Around here they ask around $500 for their used beat to hell Glocks.
I think $500 is fair for a brand new Glock, most other gun shops around here charge between $475-$520ish.

Anywhere south of $550 is a bargain in my neck of the woods for any NIB Glock.

The price in stores around here range from $535-$590, so I would say that's a good deal.

The gander mountain by my school has used glocks for 550+. Last time I was there they had a yugo tokarev for 800. I'm never going back to that store, and I wouldn't suggest them to anyone.

Same here.

Plus, you won't have to pay the FFL fee.

My FFL got me a NIB G19 for $500 out-the-door.  I consider that a decent deal, comparing some other places prices and then factoring in shipping/transfer fees.

Eh, 499.99 is about Par for most new models around these parts.  its not much of a "special" in my opinion, but then again when i was in gander mountain in sugar land TX, they had a NIB 19 for $630.  no nightsights or anything else, just a straight stock 19.  I about choked when I saw that

I got my Marlin 981T cheaper there than anywhere else possible but you are correct for the most part.
