I am torn between getting a 17 or a 19 both with the with the RTF2 Frames.  I have one one each in the 3rd Generation Frames.  Now I need one that will replace the G19 my wife now uses for her personal use.

this is arfcom. get both.

in all honesty though, you are losing a 19 to the wife, get that.

If the 19 is not too small for you, that would be my recommendation. If it fits you, it's the most size efficient (size vs. barrel length vs. capacity) handgun made IMO.

Buy a 22 or 23 and get  a 9mm barrel to put in it

My vote is for the 19, although that may be because I went with the 19RTF2 and have no experience with the 17.
