So today on my lunch break I had time to kill I stopped by the candy shop (gun shop) and in the case the owner has a new 17L for 695.00 and an used 2nd Gen 17L for 550.00.  I have been looking for a long slide glock and sorta have been leaning toward a 34 but those 17L's look so pretty.

My question is what would you guys and gals do.  Would you get the 17L 3rd, 17L 2nd (Used), or a 34 and Why for your choice?

Thanks for the input

why oh why cant I ever find a 17L for a human price like that?

If I had my choice I would grab the 2nd gen one just cos I like the feel of the grip better.
My dream carry gun is a 17L cut to a G19 grip with a beavertail added and NP3 coated slide and barrel.

Grip is not an issue for me I keep leaning to the 3rd Gen because of the "NEW" factor.

But the price for the used one is nice.  The owner says he can get these all the time and it seems everytime I walk in this place he has anything I could ever want or can get it.  Except for that damn Cheytac that has eluded me still.

Besides the grip though I just can not choose one or the other the new factor is nice for one and the cheaper factor is better for the other.

Thank God I do not have kids, married, or a g/f because this would just be no option period.  But this will be number 9 Glock for me.
