You can even run a G17 or a G18 mag if you wish

I generally run a G19 on my hip and a G26 in an ankle rig, Both my spare mags are G17 mags.

Thank you all gents. Of course I FORGOT
 my ammo can with ALL my pre-loaded magazine after I got to the range, 100miles away.
