Bought a Firestorm .45 mini-compact at a good price. Had todo a lot of polishing on the feed ramp to get it to feed hollow points. The problem is ejection. It kicks the empties straight back, in my shirt, off my hat etc. A real pain! I'm thinking maybe the ejector is to short? I know its a cheap Spanish pistol with a 10 round double stack mag but with some work it could be ok. Any answers??

Extractor fit could be the problem.  Mine in 9 ejects normally and has been very reliable.  Check for a burr of rough spot on the extractor.

Brass is ejected that way on purpose, by design. That's so the shooter doesn't fall asleep while shooting the gun. Lawyers, ya know??????????
