well, it happened. after all this time, and years of swearing it couldn't...

i bought my first 1911. Kimber Warrior!

so, for all the 1911/Kimber guys here, what should i know/stock up on (besides mags of course)?

Real gunners grips. GI recoil spring setup. New firing pin stop, slide stop and an Ed Brown single side thumb saftey. What MSH do they come with? I assume its metal and comes with a lanyard loop. If its not or it doesn't, get one that does. I would then have a new ignition set installed and tuned, and refinish the whole thing in something that won't rust nearly as readily as the Kimber finish. Black T probably.

But thats just me.

A good holster, and maybe gunner grips.  Leave as is otherwise :-)
