And the scary thing is this is my carry pistol. I'd been carrying it around with this broken striker bar for 2 weeks before I found out about it and replaced it.

That would have been the loudest click you have ever heard if you had to use that thing.

My only problem with a Glock was a partially broken extractor. The G22 was still 80% reliable even with that broken.

I bought a very good condition used G23 about 6 years ago. When I took it apart to clean after my first outting with it, I found the guide rod snapped. Don't know how. I replaced it with a stainless rod.

That's a first! I have 15k through my 17 gen 3-the one frame pin broke in two, that's all.
