New full size slide came today... This is how it fits...Slide is in battery...This gun looks like a 3 year old put it together.

What caliber? Is it a Canadian model (not joking)
Not that this would be the case, but I know Walthers Canadian models have a bit of barrel that sticks out a bit. And the guide rod on the 9mm's sticks out too. That said I dont think I've seen any other Witness's like that. Does it shoot? |

On every Witness that I've seen (including the 3 that I've owned*, and the 2 that a friend owns**), the spring guide has always been almost flush with the end of the slide. To me, that just doesn't look right.

Thanks... Im pissin fire on this one.. 10mm Witness.. Slide is all the way in battery.. I havent shot and wont.. How someone could pass this shit off is beyond me..Last god damn time I buy from anyone other than the Mfg. for shit like this.

Have you field stripped the gun to make sure that the guide is properly installed?

That barrel's crown looks very nice. It doesn't look like the stock barrel, judging from the Witnesses I've witnessed.

The excess length is standard and comes with all the conversion kits. It allows the kit to be fitted to the slide.
